About Beau’s Pet Hotel
Located in the Adelaide Airport precinct next to Harbour Town, Beau’s is a state-of-the-art Pet Hotel that offers a safe and loving holiday experience, with both standard and luxury accommodation for cats and dogs available.
All profits from Beau’s Pet Hotel are returned to Guide Dogs SA/NT to enable independence, participation, inclusion and wellbeing for people living with vision loss, and other specalised needs through the provision of Guide Dogs, Assistance Dogs and specialist services.
About the potential opportunity
We are always looking for reliable, energetic, skilled and qualified Animal Attendants to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional care to our furry guests across all services at Beau’s Pet Hotel including dog and cat boarding and day care facilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Day to day animal husbandry – cleaning, feeding and exercising
- Provide exceptional care to all pet guests
- Provide clear communication to your team members
- Work as an integral member of the Beau’s Team to achieve positive outcomes for our guests
Rosters are set fortnightly to enable staff to plan ahead.
About you
It is important to us that our Animal Attendants have a minimum tertiary qualification of Certificate III in Companion Animal Care (or tertiary qualifications in a relevant field) as well as a thorough knowledge and understanding of dog and cat behavior and temperament, with demonstrated animal handling skills.
You are dedicated to the wellbeing of animals and can be relied upon to attend your allocated shift.
As a 7 day per week, 365 days a year service, we require all casual employees to work flexibly over a 7-day roster including weekends. All casual employees must also be available to work during peak periods (holiday seasons) such as school and public holidays.
A DHS police check (costs covered) and current driver's license will be required.
