About Beau’s Pet Hotel
Beau’s is located in the Adelaide Airport precinct next to Harbour Town. Beau’s is a state-of-the-art Pet Hotel that offers a safe and loving holiday experience, offering both standard and luxury accommodation for cats and dogs, as well as doggy day care, grooming, puppy training and Level 1 dog training.
All profits from Beau’s Pet Hotel are returned to Guide Dogs SA/NT to enable a lifetime of independence, participation, inclusion and wellbeing for people living with vision loss, and other specialised needs through the provision of Guide Dogs, Assistance Dogs, Facility Dogs and other specialist vision services and assistive technologies.
About the role
We are currently seeking a reliable, energetic, skilled and qualified Animal Attendant to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional care to our furry guests across all services at Beau’s Pet Hotel.
Key responsibilities:
- Day to day animal husbandry – suite cleaning, feeding and exercising
- Provide exceptional care to all pet guests
- Actively communicate and collaborate with your team.
- Work as an integral member of the Beau’s Team to achieve positive outcomes for our guests
Opportunity to undertake Senior Animal Attendant duties on occasion as required.
About you
It is important to us that our Animal Attendants have a minimum tertiary qualification of Certificate III in Companion Animal Care (or tertiary qualifications in a relevant field) as well as a thorough knowledge and understanding of dog behavior and temperament, with demonstrated animal handling skills and dedication to the wellbeing of animals.
You are physically fit and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment, to ensure that we meet the daily care standards of our guests.
As our business operates 7 days per week, 365 days a year service, you will be required to work Sunday - Thursday 6:30 am - 1:30pm. Public holiday penalties will also apply.
