About Beau’s Pet Hotel

Beau’s is a state-of-the-art Pet Hotel that offers a safe and loving holiday and DayCare experience for fur babies! We offer both standard and luxury accommodation for cats and dogs, doggy DayCare, Grooming services as well as Beau's Training School. Beau’s is conveniently located in the Adelaide Airport precinct, right next to Harbour town.

All profits from Beau’s Pet Hotel are returned to Guide Dogs SA/NT to enable a lifetime of independence, participation, inclusion and wellbeing for children and adults with vision impairment or loss, other sensory impairments and autism through the provision of Guide Dogs, autism assistance Dogs and Therapy Dogs, specialist services and assistive technologies. 

About the role

We are seeking a new grooming assistant to join our Grooming Salon team to support our grooming stylists in providing quality dog grooming services to our existing and clients.

You will be responsible for providing high quality customer service and undertaking basic groom tasks, including bathing, drying, nail clipping, ear cleaning, brushing, combing, de-sheds and hygiene clips across a wide variety of breeds.

Our grooming salon is open Monday - Friday.  We pride ourselves on providing an exception service to our clients and their pets, demonstrated reliability and flexibility will be highly regarded.

About you

• You have demonstrated workplace experience in animal handling. Dog grooming or assistant dog grooming experience will be highly regarded.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proven confidence and capabilities in handling a variety of dogs
• Willing to learn – with a passion for all breeds great and small
• Ability to work in a fast paced team environment

A Police Clearance will be required (paid by Guide Dogs SA/NT for successful applicants).
