About Beau’s Pet Hotel

Beau’s is a state-of-the-art Pet Hotel that offers a safe and loving holiday and Daycare experience for fur babies! We offer both standard and luxury accommodation for cats and dogs, doggy Daycare, Grooming services as well as Beau’s Training School. Beau’s is conveniently located in the Adelaide Airport precinct, right next to Harbour town.

All profits from Beau’s Pet Hotel are returned to Guide Dogs SA/NT to enable independence, participation, inclusion and wellbeing for people living with vision loss, and other specialised needs through the provision of Guide Dogs, Assistance Dogs and specialist services.

About the role

The Garden Maintenance Volunteer will assist in maintaining the overall presentation of the grounds of Beau’s Pet Hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

• General yard maintenance including mowing Central Bark and external lawns
• Weeding and tidying up of external yards and garden
• Maintaining overall presentation of the Beau’s grounds
• Ensure records are completed as necessary
• Assisting with other related duties as required

About you

• Knowledge of safe manual handling practices
• Experience with safe practices to operate lawn mower and shredder
• Competent in working autonomously and unsupervised
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Physically fit, with a safety mindset
• Good communication skills

Police Clearance (cost covered by Beau’s Pet Hotel) will be required.
