About Beau’s Pet Hotel

Beau’s is a state-of-the-art Pet Hotel that offers a safe and loving holiday and Daycare experience for fur babies! We offer both standard and luxury accommodation for cats and dogs, doggy Daycare, Grooming services as well as Beau’s Training School. Beau’s is conveniently located in the Adelaide Airport precinct, right next to Harbour town.

All profits from Beau’s Pet Hotel are returned to Guide Dogs SA/NT to enable independence, participation, inclusion and wellbeing for people living with vision loss, and other specialised needs through the provision of Guide Dogs, Assistance Dogs and specialist services.

About the role

The role of the Photography Assistant Volunteer is to work closely with the Beau’s Pet Hotel team to capture appropriate content for marketing and promotional activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work closely with the Operations Supervisor to capture images and content for use in Beau’s Pet Hotel marketing and promotional activities
• Take photos of the animals using equipment provided

• Upload any images or footage obtained to the network

• Assist in creating content for social media and other promotional activities

About you

Essential requirements of this role include:

• Ability to demonstrate good basic animal handling skills
• Good computer and technology skills 
• Willingness to follow direction and feedback in relation to handling animals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong interest in working with animals
• High level of commitment and reliability
• Mature and professional approach and presentation
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, in Marketing, photography or a related discipline (or currently completing) is desirable. 

Police Clearance (cost covered by Beau’s Pet Hotel) will be required.
